All funds, goods, and services received through fund raisers, sales, donations, and private
contributions are used solely for the purpose of feeding and caring for
the many animals at the farm. There are no paid employees at Happy
Trails. All of the feeding, care, and farm maintenance is done by
Annette and Russ Fisher and many dedicated volunteers. Follow the links

A typical week of expenses at
Happy Trails. "Many wonderful Happy Trails supporters
generously donate to help support the farm animal rescue efforts here at
the sanctuary. Though I’m sure that everyone has a basic idea of how our
funds are spent, I’d like to highlight some typical as well as
not-so-typical expenses that we deal with on a daily basis."

Happy Trails operates on
all private donations — we receive no state or federal funding. We
are happy to apply your donation toward a specific project, special
interest, certain animal, or type of sponsorship, at your request!
Happy Trails provides medical and veterinary care, proper nutrition,
safe and appropriate shelter, and address any other special needs of
the rescued farm animals and horses that are welcomed into our
rescue, rehab and adoption programs. Thanks for helping to save a
